Does anyone who had claimed status as a Real Estate Professional with the IRS also have a full time job? I own 4 rental properties and I also work from home a medical supplies sales rep. I buy and manage the properties myself and I would like to claim status as a REPS. However, my total hours with my W2 job are 2080 per year. I appreciate any advise that you can provide.

What is the best way to find a good CPA who knows real estate investing?

Dear fellow real estate investors, my name is Pier and I am located in Miami, FL. I own 4 rental properties and I do everything myself from listing, managing tenants and purchasing. I like to buy and hold.

Do you recommend hiring a regular CPA or should I find a CPA that specializes in real estate investments?

Thanks,

Pier
