I am trying broker investor career

I just started my career , i m working in a project of land investment in QLD , my friend has a company and he is giving me the opportunity to work with him and find investors for built a suburb. What i wanna do is become a succesful broker investor and in few years start buy properties bymyself. 

I would like to know more about the process , do i need some special qualifications? Also , how can i start run my own business ?
