If you had $10,000, what would you use it to invest in and why?

Hello, I have been off and on looking into real estate investing for years, the reason is I have no idea what is the most efficient and cost-effective way to get started. I thought about becoming a member of my local REIA however I heard some REIAs can be hit or miss whether they are helpful or beneficial. Because it is a long-time dream of mine to be able to invest in real estate I would be willing to either pay for mentorship or work for free under someone willing to help me get started. I REALLY would like a person to actually help me if at all possible not a course or webinar or something like that. I am 100% committed and serious to learning all that I can from a knowledgeable investor if someone would be willing to help me. I am in the Gwinnett / Walton County area of Georgia for anyone local that wouldn't mind mentoring me.

Thanks!

Phyllis.
