This may differ in your area (I thought I was posting in Louisville specific but I may have messed that up) but here small claims is only up to $2,500 which this debt exceeds. Im aware collecting isn't easy but I would like the have the judgement in case I decide to garnish wages

I am looking for lawyers help in taking a tenant to court for the debts owed. It exceeds the limit for small claims. Ids there anyone here experience with this process and may have a recommendation?

Can somebody who has had to do a court ordered eviction in Jefferson County give me some info? In many states the sheriffs office is responsible for removing the tenants belongings, but the JCO website makes it sound like the landlord is responsible. Can anyone confirm and if so, and local companies you recommend to help with removal? 

I'm not getting a clear answer in the law books so maybe somebody can help me. I had a tenant break their lease. I made a deal with them that I would only charge them up to 2 months rent while searching for a new tenant and of course they would lose their deposit. My intention was not to deduct their deposit from the damage charges after the move out inspection given that they broke their lease I was not going to apply that money in that manner. However, before sending them their final bill I am trying to make sure that is legal if I have to apply the deposit to their charges.

Can anybody provide some insight?

Let me give a little more detail. This is an empty lot next to out house hat we would like to purchase to garden on. It's land locked by several houses. Looking to have a proper evaluation on the land based on it's location, condition, and potential use

I'm looking for the proper channels to get a parcel of land I am interested in properly evaluated and assessed. I have already started talks with the owner but their ask is incredibly off and I'd like to have documents and proof that back me up.
