Will,

Thanks for your feedback.I have a friend in Texas who invests with Jason Hartman and is having some success. My wife and I have taken the plunge also buying two properties in Florida.I listen to his podcasts all the time-mostly great advice but some of his opinions

require a "grain of salt" .

I just haven't seen or heard much of his name in the forums so I thought I would ask.

Thanks again!

Thank you all for your timely and very informative responses.

I appreciate your well wishes.

Our first property will most likely be a condo.

If I am investing in vacation property in Hawaii will I need to get a mortgage with a bank there?

Kauai is where we have  started to look on the north shore , and the topic has not even been thought about yet.

I suppose our realtor will advise us but wanted to know sooner.

I am an investor in New Jersey and have passively invested buy and hold rentals for years.

I currently co-own a residential duplex and a single family home along with a commercial building.

I am looking for capital to fund deals-(I do have some of my own $$) but would prefer fresh ideas

to bring in some $$.

I currently have two possible deals (REO's) and would love to find a route besides conventional funding.

I'm seeking guidance-anyone??
