Thanks for the recommendation Taylor!

Anyone located around the Boston area (Massachusetts, New Hampshire) that has experience with creating and running a Syndication? I'd love to hear how you got started and the challenges you faced.

Hi Greg,

How did you find that group and what made you choose them over others? Do these groups usually have restrictions on membership/participation? How much did it cost for the educational training? Thank you.

Hi All,

I'm really interested in learning how people started in syndication and what steps they took to get into the industry. I've listened to a lot of podcasts and it seems most syndicators try to find a mentor or invest as limited partners with the intent of learning how the deals get underwritten and how they are managed. I'm curious if others did similar steps or used other methods to learn the industry?

My goal is to eventually become a syndicator myself but I know that I need a mentor and guidance structuring deals. Any helpful tips is greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance.

Thank you all for the thoughtful comments and I definitely have a lot to consider on my real estate investing journey.

@Aaron Romero I'm located in the Metrowest area.

Hi Enis,

I did see that on meetup.com but unfortunately I have a prior engagement on that date. I will definitely attend the next available one as I'd love to network with local investors. Thank you.

Hi Sam, I'm new and just learning about real estate investing myself. Was getting your Massachusetts real estate license difficult? I'm debating on whether it would be beneficial on getting a license as an investor or not. What are your thoughts?
