Rebecca - thanks for your input. I don't have an accountant yet, either... I thought I would pursue the initial structure from an attorney first.  Thanks also for your recommendation - I'll definitely consider Atty Hyndiuk. (BTW, I spent my formative years of age 12-30 in Waukesha, so it has a special place in my heart...)

Hi - I followed the advice to stop thinking about and analyzing every little thing, and jump into action, so I bought my first turnkey property in Milwaukee, WI about 3 months ago. Now that I've started, I still have the same questions that I had before.... My main question is setting up legal entities for my property, with an eye towards acquiring more in the future. From what I've read, it would be best to have an LLC for holding the other LLCs that my properties would be owned by. This is an important step that I don't want to have to do twice, so I'm looking for an attorney to help me set this up. I would prefer someone in my local Portland, OR area, but am open to having someone outside my area if it makes better sense. I would appreciate any advice or guidance from the wise people at Bigger Pockets. Thanks!
