Like it’s just a month to month agreement that we have in writing. And the reason is that they’re smoking in the house when the rules say that it has to be done outside. They also get mad at guests that I have when they use the hallway bathroom claiming that it’s there bathroom and that they don’t have a right to use it.

Hello there from hemet California, I was wondering what I need to do in my situation. I have roommates that pay rent on time and don’t have a lease but we have a month to month contract. I wanted to kick them out a while ago but were afraid of getting sued because of the COVID restrictions. Does anybody know if I can give them a notice to vacate in these times? Any advise is appreciated and thank you.
