Well it's been a while since I've been on bigger pockets, and was looking for some deal advice. I currently have two rental properties with mortgages and I was just qualified for my third property in Austin, Tx. So I started wondering, I have two mortgages and my up and coming mortgage will all be under my personal name and credit. I have an LLC that my properties fall under for personal protection but how would I place at least two Mortgages into lets say a business account when they were both bought under my personal credit and name. I know its possible. Can anyone describe where to at least start? SHould I contact a bank? A lawyer? a specialized CPA? Etc.. Thank you for all your help in advance. Hope to hear from someone soon

Wanted to do things a bit differently, I wanted to start screening my potential renters more professionally. Is there a website where they can go and pay for a background check both criminally and financially and the report would be sent to me. I live away from the area the rent house is in and need some help to make this work. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

I think that's a great idea your following. I may need assistance once I find my next property, hopefully in the next month or two. I'll keep you in mind and would love to meet and talk. I could tell you about my past two investments and how they shook out, and the pros and the cons of each. Hit me up and join me as a collegeague on the site

One of my rental properties has an interest of 5.25% and I know that still high compared to todays rates. Could anyone tell me the general cost of doing a refi on a rental property?

I was caught in the position where I took money order for deposit and first month rent only to find out the tenants in later months didn't have a checking account and now I'm forced to meet up with them for payment (due to the fact I think mailing money orders is dangerous and they'll find a way to use the excuse lost in the mail). Income and checking verification will be a permanent process for here on out
