@Hobart King do you have the policy in your Name or someone else’s? I have property in the south and I pay 450 annually for all my properties. You need to shop around

@Marian Smith i totally agree PM is only good for multiple properties they get entirely to much to use your insurance and warranty company and your money if there is a problem

@Phillip Rosin I would put new appliances and the floors as long as the cabinets are sturdy leave them

@Jordan Meyer I said this something! I have 2 properties and property managers aren't a good fit they charge to much and then cut you a check on your own property. They need all your information (i.e warrenties and insurance) I had a property manager tell me one thing to rent my place then try to renegotiate another price only because they confirmed a 2 year lease. I told him absolutely not we don't change contracts at the last minute because your thinking im getting more so you deserve more. But I'm done with them all together now and I was just about to make a 500k or 600k purchase...

@Jeff Alwine yes it is most definitely doable to run properties from a short distance like 1 - 1.5 hrs away from you just put all the systems in place especially for the 1st year. Get you a good home warranty so that you can set up for any thing that may arise...

@Ricardo P. I still say weather the storm, people are paying their rent. If someone isn't paying their rent so soon in this pandemic its because they're really sick but will bounce back. People are still actively looking for places to live so just give it a chance and keep a positive attitude...
