@Joel Bongco Many thanks for the welcome and encouragement. I did fill out the intro form on your link. It is true that out-of-state multi-family is my focus at this stage, mostly because of the lower costs to entry, but I am still intrigued about doing some investing locally. And the market for flips in Hawaii has been historically excellent. I am always watching the MLS and talking to others and I have seen several homes lately that I believe would make excellent flip potential. In particular a few REO's that I have watched hit the market at great discounts that could easily be cleaned up into million dollar plus homes.
