thank you all for responding! turned out our original "plumber" installed a faulty fitting and then tile guy (which brought the "plumber") covered it with the shower pan. note to self: hire a real plumber!

I am brand new to wholesaling and came across a property that defaulted on a reverse mortgage. There are several fuzzy details to sift through. Primary borrower passed away 4 years ago and her son is living in the property. He claims no payments or arrangements have been made. It is scheduled for auction in January. Is there a way to purchase the home before the auction?

Hello, all!  We are new house flippers in San Antonio, and found out today that our current flip has a cold water leak after the foundation repair.  The company that detected the leak wants to charge a minimum of $1500 just to find out where it is, and then over $2000 to repair it.  OR they can replumb the whole home for just over 19K.  As with any flip, we are on a tight budget and I could really use some advice on how to proceed.  This is only our second flip, so we are very green!  Any words of wisdom or investment friendly plumbers welcomed.  TIA!
