Thanks for your input Nate. That's why I was leaning toward Heloc, didnt want to make payments on money I haven't used yet, but then again I'm gonna leverage my primary residence would like to be locked into a fixed rate at the same time, believe I can get into a 3.875 right now on a cash out refi. It's a tough choice

Hey guys here's my scenario. I want to buy another rental property using my primary house as leverage. What is the better route a heloc or cash out refi? Jusy want to hear some opinions before I pull the trigger. Looking to access 100k I have 200k in equity. Thanks
