Hey Ronald, thank you for the welcome! I am wholesaling in San Antonio and Dallas. Just got my first contract yesterday :)

My background is in online physical products sales and I don't have any online marketing client business. The case study I intend to share is to add value to anyone here looking to generate leads. I have received a lot of value here on BP and I love digital marketing and I just made that thing happen with my bro-in-law.

I can understand the skepticism though, the digital world is a pitch fest. Maybe I should have left the mention of case study out of my post, however it's coming so oh well. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Hello everyone, my name is Paul and I'm originally from Maui, Hawaii soon to be San Antonio TX local. I'm a Dad to Logan 9, Lucas 6, husband to Wendy.

I've spent the last 11 years as an entrepreneur in the digital marketing world, primarily focused on physical product eCommerce (I own 2 brands that operate on Etsy and Shopify), and most recently having kinda accidentally built a few 100k social media following as the Carnivore Dad.

I’ve been interested in and attracted to real estate for years but I just made excuses that had me staying in my lane of digital marketing, however I'm here now and eager to learn.

I settled on Texas as my primary state because I have family here, I love meat, and I’m interested in firearms. I chose San Antonio as the primary city because it seemed the most opportune city to invest and start my real estate journey via wholesaling.

So far I've been learning on these forums, YouTube, and taking massive action to learn as I go. I have no contracts yet but a solid handful of warm leads in the pipeline that I continue to follow up with.

I've been creeping in the shadows here on BP reading, learning. I posted only once so far offering to find someone off market properties here in San Antonio, however that comment was removed because I didn't read the rules and realize that type of comment is supposed to be in the classfieds section.

I've learned a lot so far and I hope to add some value to the REI community here at BP. That being said I'm planning to post a case study of how I helped my brother-in-law, a Contractor with a small 4-man team, go from struggling to $46,000 in new business in a very short time frame.

If I had to write a highly click-bait worthy headline for this case study it would go something like...

REVEALED: Struggling Contractor Signs $46,000+ in NEW Business in 7 days for FREE Without Paid Advertising Using This Simple 3-Step System

I'm a glutton for memes, dad jokes, and anything that pokes fun at how ridiculous us marketers slice and dice language and communication in our marketing :)

My brother-in-law specializes in building patio covers, fences, decks, pergolas for residential homeowners. His average contract value is around 15-20k and his profit margins on these jobs are roughly 50%.

I don't have an agency or any sort of business that provides this service. My digital marketing experience comes primarily from selling physical products such as t-shirts, wall art, family gifts, etc… on Facebook, Google, Etsy. I only started doing this for my brother because about 9-12 months ago his business started to slow substantially.

Then a few months after the slowdown, his primary channel of lead generation, Facebook marketplace, changed their terms of service prohibiting service providers like him from posting services on FB marketplace.

He knew I had run over half a million dollars of paid Facebook and Google ads selling various products over the years so came to me for help with Facebook advertising because he could no longer post for free on FB marketplace. We launched some paid advertising, however the results were bad.

About 6 weeks ago I started doing deeper research on his particular business model and I began putting the pieces together to help generate some leads and get him and my sister back to making money again.

Fast forward to just over a week ago since I completed his setup, and so far he’s had 5 appointments to view job sites so he may submit bids, and he’s locked up 2 contracts worth $15,500 and $31,500 totaling $46,000 in new business.

This case study serves to support any REI professionals seeking inbound leads including…

Contractors of all types (Roof, Foundation, Electrician, Plumbing, Painting, Etc...)

Realtors

Lending officers

Wholesalers

Property managers

Title companies/Escrow officers

Heck even Dentists could use this

Anything local where you have a physical location/office and you generate leads based on your local geographic location.

I still have to put all the pieces together to best illustrate this, however I promise that I will post this case study showing exactly what I did in order to get my contractor brother-in-law the $46,000 in contracts in just a short period of time and I sincerely hope this helps you generate more revenue for your business.

Holy crap this post turned long.
