@Mike M. Thanks Mike! I’ve been to a small presentation that they facilitated a while back. I will definitely be attending some of their meetups soon.

Hello BP Peeps!

I am excited/nervous to get started in the real-estate investing business!  I've been hiding in the shadows of BP listening to the podcasts and getting my personal life situated.  I believe I may be ready, and this first post seems like a good step 1.

My wife and two beautiful daughters (2yr, 4yr) are my "Why". I want to build a life where I will be able to provide and spend as much time with them as they need/want. They motivate me to be the best I can be. I also want to be able to help my immediate family and friends with real-estate related decisions and insight. I love being able to contribute and help those I love.

I currently have my primary residence with some equity in a heloc and am ready to put it to use!

I do not shy away from using some elbow grease through DIY, I actually prefer it. I've always enjoyed fixing and improving when it comes to my own house. But I understand that this is not ideal for a long term strategy (don't want to "carry that toilet" too far).

I work weekends so, I am currently practicing analyzing deals during the week through the MLS portals and I am open to expanding my network.

In summary: I have some cash, elbow grease, time to contribute, and eagerness to gain experience.  I appreciate any encouragement and advice as I navigate the awesome world of BiggerPockets.

Thank you, in advance for cheering me on as I jump onto this speeding train!
