Can anyone provide some options on securing $50k for an investment?  Are there any hidden gems (e.g. Credit Card companies, with high limits; Credit Unions; Hidden away lenders; etc) out there where small amounts are available, but not very well known?

Is anyone aware of any solutions that allow you to monitor water usage from various rooms (e.g. Kitchen, Bathroom 1, Bathroom 2, etc.)?
