@Anthony Susco I can travel up to 1-2 hours into NJ from NYC. Hopefully little to no repair. I'm reading that we should budget for property management regardless and prob use one due to location.

Any good NJ Counties I can check out online in NJ?
I was looking into Jersey City - population trends seems to be going up. but crime rates seems high

@Anthony Susco Yes. I plan on Buy and hold rental units for cash flow and appreciation.
The Taxes in NJ seems to be higher than PA. I'll reach out to realtors soon.

Thanks

Hi BP Community!

I just watched the webinar last night and I am more motivated than ever to start RE Investing!

I live in Queens NY and originally wanted to invest in this area or Brooklyn but the more I analyze, the more i find that this is a tough area to find the positive cash flow deals (Average $500K+ homes with $2-3K Total Rent Income) . So i started to look at surrounding areas in NJ,PA, CT and long Island. ..

My questions are:

- How can i find out if there is a market for renters in a specific area? (some areas look desolate in the pictures)
- How can i find out if people are moving into that area or moving out?
- Are there any area suggestions for me to look into?

Thanks in advance for the help and advice,
Paul
