Wondering if you all use the Payment Standards list before you submit a Rent Adjustment with Section 8?  

In my case, I inherited a Section 8 tenant in Cuyahoga County, OH and I was not made aware till after escrow closed.  So, when I made a rent adjustment I did not know this list existed, CMHA did not mention it to me.  

Now that I know about it I cannot believe how much more rent I could be getting....I just put in a Rent Adjustment request so I believe I have to wait a year. 

What is your experience with this list?

Hi Paula! I do BRRRRs in Columbus Ohio! I recently helped an investor do a full clean BRRRR of a 3/2 single family house at $185k purchase price, $25k rehab, and appraised at $264k. The client was able to refinance and pull out all of their capital and own it free and clear now! Happy to connect and answer any questions you have!

I am looking to buy Section 8 properties in Los Angeles. Am open to other counties close by as well. I want to talk to a realtor who deals in Section 8 properties and knows the ins and outs of these deals.

I have a triplex in Shaker Heights that has two units sharing the electric meter - i want to split it and am being told it is not possible in CLeveland.  I also want to split the water meters. The sewer bill is high and wondering if that can be split as well.
