Glad to be part of this forum (officially) I've spent time browsing, reading the books, and listening to the podcast. I'm 35, with two daughters both with ASD. We are unbelievably blessed with the resources we have at our disposal in the area and able to live a "semi-normal life". Including real estate investment into their long term security is the driver for getting in to this! I finally have a great opportunity to make my first investment purchase (a bit ahead of schedule). If I can get to 8-10 rental properties (assuming I stay in the same "category" of single family or duplexes), I can create an extra layer of security for my family.

Thank you all in advance for the contributions and time you've put in to helping people like me feel confident enough to take this action!

Not meant to be a sob story, ha ha, just reality.

Post: Lender Recommendation in the Dane County Area

I am looking into making my first real estate investment purchase a little faster than I had initially planned due to a great deal coming available (which is a great problem!). The overall cost will be a little higher than I had planned for because it will likely be two homes.

Hoping someone can help with a recommendation or direction on some of the better lenders in the area that I can reach out to. I am currently a member at UW-CU, and will be doing my own research as well.

Thanks in advance for your help!

(hoping asking for recommendations for lender organizations is not against the guidelines)
