Hi @Ryan Steed, how has your property management solution panned out? I am looking for a company I can work with remotely.  Any thoughts?

@Engelo Rumora well that was excellent feedback to the group. It speaks to me as one that is invested but stalled. I have four properties, three of which are in the 43609 area that I am revisiting now to either sell or rent. I need to get started with a new team as of this week. Any suggestions? Or does anyone else have an established team that is interested in info sharing / advice / partnership?

Hey everyone,

I'm a Canadian from Vancouver, BC.  I am trying to set up an 'ideal' entity or partnership so that I can efficiently limit my liability as well as reduce my annual tax reporting costs (and taxes in general).

I intend to use borrowed money but haven't yet secured a mortgage that I can use in the USA.

I have downpayment cash. Help!

Maripier Carignan it looks as though 4 mo the ago you went through exactly what I'm looking into now. I would really like to ask to a few questions if we can connect somehow. Sorry I'm new to this app and haven't figured out how to do that yet.

I am currently investigating the opportunities in the US for single family and multi family homes. As a Canadian I have found several hurdles involved and am curious if anyone here is or is working on a similar strategy. 1. I can see the LP and multiple entities are the best way to go from a liability standpoint. They also seem pricey to set up. 2. Taxes are doable but escalate in cost with the above mentioned entity structure. So far it appears an efficient tax strategy is very important. Any advice? Anyone been through it? As for the corporation and limited partnership setup, is that something anyone has been through?
