Thanks all for the warm welcome!

@Miguel Rubio I'd like to focus on both flips and buy/hold opportunities. I like the idea of shorter term capital via flips (they also appeal to the architect in me!) however long term goal would be steady cash flow from rentals. I'm going to start looking into some of the local REIAS and meet ups after the holidays are over. Open to any suggestions if you have any?

Thanks again for the welcome!

I'm a licensed Architect in Washington, DC currently working for one of the larger AE firms in the country, predominantly within the commercial sector. Lately I've been exploring alternate personal income streams and my interest in the residential market has somewhat naturally led me towards real estate investing. As a result, I started listening to BP podcasts and have probably read more books (business/REI focused) in the past year than I have in my entire life.

At this point I’m just looking to start connecting with other professionals in the industry and hoping to hear back from the BP community!
