I am not very savvy to our current economical situation involving inflation, could you please elaborate on your outlook for inflation?

It has come to my attention that since April of last year that wealthy investors have been buying up homes with cash in an effort to invest in something that will follow inflation trends.  Do you think this could lead to a selling off in 1 or 2 years after the economy has stabilized and these wealthy individuals will seek to reinvest their money into a more lucrative investment opportunity?
