My goals for 2014 would be to purchase my first property either a flip or buy and hold.(get out of the analysis paralysis)  Also I would like to see the first property build the momentum I am looking for.

I had a lady tell me about this once She said some of the large banks are in trouble with this. Foreclosing on properties that they were not supposed to, and Forging documents, as well as not being able to produce the notes. she gave me a name of another lady apparently received a large sum of money for finding this out and suing the banks. Ill have to try and google the name. the lady was very mad / passionate about this so it was kinda hard to follow all that she was saying. eventually she started talking about the end of the world and bomb shelters...it was all i could do to get away ill let you know if i can find that name

Thanks guys I am very excited to see what the future holds. I realize my goals were a little vague but i was running out of time, so i wanted to share a little more. I am very interested in the multi family rentals as my first rentals. I am having some issues finding ones that fit the 50% guidelines, or ones that do not need a ton of work. Then again i am only looking on the mls through various websites. I also am interested in flips of sfh. I live in oldham county and wanted to start there with rehabs, only because I know the areas well. As far as experience I do own my home simple financing nothing special, that leads me to my current state of learning the financing side of things and how to get the money to back any offers. That being said i have not made any offers. Ultimately I am shooting for a goal of 2 yrs to be able to do real estate investing full time. Thanks again I will return to the search bar...

Hello everyone my name is Patrick Hockersmith, first let me say I love this site every question I have I can find the answer on a forum or pod cast. So a little about me I am 31 yrs old I am married and have two little boys. I am a "gearhead" meaning if it has a motor im happy. Motorcycles Cars Jetskis Boats you name it im in. I also enjoy the updates and such i have done on my own home. handyman stuff.

I have always been interested in real estate just never new how to get started. then i found bp and i am now pretty close to jumping in!

My goals for my investing is to acquire buy and hold rentals to produce enough income to "quit" my 9-5er i am also very interested in fix and flips. for now i have to go lunch break is over lol
