The “due on sale clause” is a legal part of nearly every mortgage that gives the bank the right to demand that the loan be paid back, in full, immediately if the property is sold.  Seems like a legal haggle that I do not want to risk.

How do you find homeowners who own the home outright without having an existing mortgage?  I am hoping to get a list so I can target them for seller financing.  I do not want to deal with the "due on sale" clause.
