Parth,
Based on my data reports YTD 2024 going into 2025 for STR,
1. Smoky Mountains, Tennessee
2. Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona
3. Orlando, Florida
4. Austin, Texas
5. Joshua Tree, California
6. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
7. Nashville, Tennessee
8. Palm Springs, California
9. Miami, Florida
10. Destin, Florida (Emerald Coast)
Depending on leverage and monies available they vary in buy in.
Regards
Joe
Hello Joseph,
That is what I was looking for. Thanks for your help! :)

That question isn't going to help you get good answers. What do you consider high ROI? How much do you have spend? What is your plan for management? What types of STR are you interested in?
To be successful right now in STR, you either need to go all out and beat everyone else on their table stakes (pickleball, basketball, game rooms, saunas, hot tubs, etc.) or you need to understand the market better than anyone and pick a niche for that market.
Right now, you are one post in and just asking for someone to tell you anywhere in the United States to invest, which is silly. You haven't done enough research on your own to help someone help you.
Hello Jonathan,
Thank you for at least your response. I believe there is nothing silly when you don't know where to start. My primary objective is to buy something within a few hours of residency. I'm living in Jersey City. I tried to look at some properties for STR in Pocono Lakes, Hudson Valley, and Jersey Heights as this will be my first investment I'm worried as these will be good locations to go ahead for STR. That's why my question was to go ahead all over the USA to see people's suggestions for better locations.
The fact that you don't think it's silly to ask a forum to recommend any place in the United States for STR and expect to get answers from people without a funnel to sell you something is silly.
Jersey City and surrounding is very good for MTR opportunities because of the proximity to NYC and since you are in residency, you would be MUCH safer focusing on MTR since you have an in to other medical professionals.
Hello Jonathan,
Thank you for the suggestion. I'll keep in mind.
