This is all very helpful. I do think LLC is eventually the goal I just don't want it to be something I am overthinking that keeps us from our next deal.

I guess in wondering if just getting liability insurance is enough for now until my portfolio gets bigger.🤷‍♀️

@Percy Matsunaga thanks for your reply. The CPA I spoke with didn't seem to think it was necessary to have an LLC and mentioned alot of her clients including some with hundreds of properties only worked under their SSN. I was shocked to hear that but remembered seeing a video on here were Brandon Turner said it wasn't a big deal when you are just starting out because you don't have alot of equity to come after in the event of a lawsuit so that's why I'm uncertain.

I only have 2 properties that have been managed by a PM for several years. I'm taking over to have more control and want to know if I can run w/o setting up business structure. I was advised by CPA that I can but not sure if that makes the most sense or if I should do a DBA, LLC or what. We do plan to purchase more properties to BRRR if that makes a difference.
