Hi everyone,
I am currently looking for a mentor in multifamily investing. There is a couple of companies that provide mentoring such as RE Mentor, but of course, mentoring prices are not cheap. It is around 20K-30K depending on the time. Are these companies worth the price? What is the best way to find a mentor? I have been educating myself last 3 months and already paid a couple of thousand bucks and i feel like the next step should be a mentor. I wish one of my friends could be my mentor, but unfortunately nobody in real estate and i am trying to get them in real estate. It looks like i will be their mentor :)
Why the heck would one need to spend 30k? thats INSANE. Its not rocket science, Its just numbers. Buy right, see/ learn what all expenses are hire a PM and move on. So many make it more complicated. Its just like buying a SF just more numbers.
Gross less expenses, into your all in price,
I just bought a 7 unit last week, took me under 45 seconds to determine if the numbers were good.
Real estate is people business. You need people to buy and sell things. Of course, i can run the number by myself and let's say i find a deal. What is next if you don't know anyone or don't have enough money? Unfortunately, you cant find everyone by searching on Google, but i wish we could. There are some deals take less than 45 seconds for me to figure out if it is a good deal or a bad deal, but the question is, what is next? Who to call?
