No offense taken. I just stated what worked for me and as I mentioned, I was doing a small bathroom, not necessarily the same abuse as kitchen cabinets may go through. But in my case, the Dutch Boy worked just fine.

From my personal experience, unless your name is a household name that nobody can forget, I would stay away from it. You want to make it as simple as possible and definitely a .com (I try to stay away from .net, .biz, .etc...). People know .com and often times only read the main domain name (automatically assuming it starts with www and ends with .com).

If you do decide to use your name in the address, I usually tell people to be careful of words ending in an 's'. For example if you were to buy HicksHomes.com you may want to buy HicksHome.com, HickHomes, and even HickHome.com - Then just have each one automatically redirect the viewer to your main site (HicksHomes.com). This way if somebody missed the 's' they'll still be able to get to your site. Of course your best bet is just to stay clear of any words that end with 's'.

if they're real wood, you could try stripping them and then restain them. Another option is to lightly sand them and then paint them. I recently did this with our bathroom cabinets and I believe I used Dutch Boy paint, they make a paint specifically for cabinets.

I agree 100% with you Tim! I watched that video earlier and my favorite part is when the news guy went to interview the one Black Panther and the Panther said, "...and I'm telling you, you got no authorization to be at this pollin' station, that's what you got!"

To which the reporter responded, "Yeah, that's what they told us earlier, and in fact we checked with our legal department, the Philadelphia Board of Elections, and we do in fact have the legal right to be within 10 feet from the entrance of a polling place, and YOU should know that!" LOL

As for the guy who was "asked to leave and left..." he was escorted away by police.

If you want to do something with the cabinets, you could either try to strip them and restain them a different color. Another option is to lightly sand them and then paint them (I believe Dutch Boy makes a cabinet paint).

With Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Netscape, Chrome and Safari all competing for the title of the "Optimal Browser" I still think Firefox has the most to offer. Many people don't know about some of the great Add-Ons available (for free) in Firefox. What Add-Ons do you use?

Usually I grab just about anything and everything that Google comes out with, but I'm just way too big of a fan of Firefox.

I do a lot of work on people's computers and Firefox along with about 8-10 extensions is one of the first things I install.

There are some great ones out there for anybody who uses gmail.

I'm a huge fan of the "police type" shows. I love CSI (mainly Vegas), NCIS, Burn Notice, The Unit and Monk. But I also enjoy The Office and Ghost Whisperer (can't get enough of Jennifer Love Hewitt).
