Hey @Dakota Pollard I use Fathom Realty.

Check out their website. I pay $100/month to hang my license but I have been using them as an actual agent. They charge 15% off your first 3 transactions and you get 100% commission after that.

I think they have a plan where you do not give up any of your commission. I joined their mentorship program so that entails giving that 15% to the managing broker in exchange for guidance and bi-weekly meetings with him.

Anyways check them out. Let me know if you have any questions.

Does anyone know what the difference between RealQuest Professional and RealQuest Express is? I want to run comps off of it and was wondering if anyone has signed up for either program. The Express programs pricing is listed on the site while the Professional version you have to call in.

I called their sales department and the sales guy transferred me to Customer Service. Then the customer service rep said the sales guy would have to call me back since she didn't know.

Thanks for the info @Aaron Ramm. I signed up for all three. I'm going to go check out the REAPS orientation on Mercer Island this Saturday. Quick question, how much did it cost to get your LLC set up?

Thanks everyone! Appreciate the encouragement.

@Chanté Owens How would I join the REIA WA? Do I have to be an agent?

@Brandon Turner Thanks for the tips. I've been plugging away at these guides/articles you recommended. BTW love the podcast.

Post: Why Would Someone Sell to a Wholesaler?

Hi BP community

Here is a question I haven't found on the forums yet. I'm looking to write out mailers so want to be able to narrow down as many groups or types of people as possible. So I was wondering. Why or more importantly who would sell their house to a wholesaler. From what I can gather people who inherited the property and don't want to care for it or pay property taxes, people who are behind on property taxes and can't sell because of it, and people who own the house outright or have a ton of equity in it but want to get rid of it. Also Divorce. Is there any other reasons that I'm missing that you guys can think of?

Thanks

Osiris

Hi everyone

Excited to join the BP community. Been listening to the podcast and reading the forums to get a hang of everything.

I ended up here because I was looking to buy a house so I set out to find out everything I could about the process and see if there was any insider trick or tip to get a better deal then just simply going to an agent and saying I want to buy a house. (I try to make a habit of always checking to see if I can get a discount.)

Anyways after looking around and examining my situation a little more closely I decided that right now would not be the best time to buy for me. I am extremely curious about wholesaling, as I'm sure many other newbies are. Any other wholesalers in the King, Snohomish, Skagit and Pierce County areas on here? I'd love to pick your brain about what the status of the wholesaling market is here.

I have a background in construction and construction project management so I expect fix and flipping to be in my future once I get the ball rolling on the cash side.
