I'm 19, and I don't have a job and I've been looking in to buying a house so I could house hack and my concern is that how long would it take me to get a loan.

Hi when planning on how much I would need to save for my first purchase should I include closing costs or is it paid thru the loan

How long do I have to live in my first bought property for from a loan from a lender. In order for me to buy more rental property?

@Craig Curelop

My plan was on attending a community college to earn that AA degree in real estate so I could get my real estate license so that way I’m saving money. Since CC is basically free and I could use the scholarship money and grants and FASFA ( Free application for student aid) save that for a future down payment.

@Melba Chambers

Why do you say I should keep learning as much as I can? And how many hours a day do you recommend if I wanna kill it out there?

So I’m planing on going to community college to get my certificate in real estate in January - May and while I do that I wanna work for a real estate company and stay in there so lenders could see a consistent paycheck, to qualify as fast as possible for a loan to put on a house so I could start house hacking and renting out to students

@Michael Albaum

Thank you for all the advice.

And also how long do I need to be working there so they could lend to me

@Michael Albaum

Where would you suggest me getting a job I’ve done a lot of different labor work the past 3 years. Should I work for like a union or somewhere in real estate.

I started working at a pumping patch last year in September and ended the last day of October then worked at that same company for there Christmas trees and did that and ended at the end of the year so I didn’t have a job for two months till I got a job at a movie theater and worked there till the end of august while also working again for the pumpkin patch when they asked me start working for them in July since then I been working for them and now we’re going into Christmas season. Will I get lenders with this work history? Or should I get a better job that pays more than minimum wage
