@Adam Egloff I am also looking at trying to purchase a rental property in OKC. Planning a trip in about 3 weeks to check out the area and neighborhoods. I have been looking in Research Park, JFK figured with all the hospitals there should be a good number of renters. Will keep you posted after my visit.

I have had a rental property for a while recently just found out about BP and could really use some help. I have a rental property in Austin, TX (2/2 condo). My unit damaged the unit below I figured I could use my rental property insurance to cover the repairs. Per the plumbers report my toilet had no wax ring. My insurance refuse to cover the cost of the repairs because the cause was improper installation. I have never replaced the toilets, the unit was originally bought as my primary residence and was pretty much turnkey. The issue is not the repair cost but that the tenants below left because of mold and the owner wants loss of rental income from me. I was really hoping that my rental insurance would cover this but it won’t. Anyone know anything I can do to better my situation?
