Hi wondering if anyone knows of any good title companies in the North Carolina area that don't frown on simultaneous closings and or double closings for wholesalers? Any assistance is always appreciated...

Hello BP family, I am working on a wholesale deal and I am wondering what is the best route to obtain comparables without expending a lot of money. If anyone can assist with any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I tend to agree with Brian, that wholesaling is probably your best route to go, just getting in the door with real estate investing. Courses by guru's some may be worthwhile but you can gain the same knowledge by doing what you are doing, staying connected on BP, and finding a mentor ( possibly even on BP ) to guide you through your first deal or two. Wishing you much success...

Congratulations Justin, I was opting against using Direct Mailings but apparently they do work. Very inspirational.

As Scott stated there probably is more to the story than was originally printed. Will be watching in coming days for more developments to drop. Although I am interested in whether the fact that both of the indicted parties were allegedly realtors posed something of a conflict of interest. Thinking that they say licensing as a realtor holds one accountable to a higher standard.

I read the 7 habits of highly effective people and agree with Peter, this is a great book. I would like to add to more that I fell are eye openers on dealing with others, " The Speed of Trust", and "Serving Two Masters? Reflections on God and Profit".

Corey, I'm no Pro by any stretch, but I do believe it all boils down to due diligence in having all your ducks in a rolw and full disclosure to the parties that you are dealing with. After all real estate investing is as much a relationship business as the $$$$.

I agree with mostly all of the previously mentioned advice on this post. You don't need to spend lots of money to get educated, be diligent about interacting on BP. Also there are many great blogs on wholesaling on here. Steph Davis to name one has a weekly blog on wholesaling REO's which is chock full of great info. Wishing you loads of success...

As always this is a great topic with many opposing processes of thought. Although I have yet to see anyone answer Norm's question as to whether or not it makes sense to cset up a company as LLC or DBA and create business cards, as a part of the marketing strategy.
