Hi Everyone:

This is my first post.

I am looking at purchasing a 24 unit building with 1 water heater, not each separately metered.

Looking over the building's expense, the one that stands out is the water bill. However, if the landlord can pass on this expense to the tenant, this building could be a good investment.

I understand that I could implement a system wherein I make an effort to collect a water fee from each tenant on a monthly basis, but I am not interested in doing that, instead, I think there are companies that focus in on collecting for water consumption from each unit/tenant.

Does anyone have any information on the company that I am trying to describe above? Or any suggestions on how I can take the risk out of taking on a building that is NOT separately metered for water for a 24 unit building?

Thanks in advance.
