Hello all,  I am a new member and I am looking for some insight.  I am currently located in NYC but I would like to invest in rental properties upstate, CT, or PA where I think my money could do more.  I would love some insight on starting points or steps to take.  Additionally, how can I find information on landlord friendly states.  In general any insight would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

I believe in real estate investing, because of its many financial possibilities, and I do not want to work for anyone, I would like to control my narrative!
