@Ben Rhodin Thank you very much Ben, for your detailed answer. I believe that house hacking is the way to go. I’m currently in California so multiplexes are a little out of reach for me now, later on maybe. But I’m considering moving out of state where I could actually implement this strategy without completely over leveraging debts

@Brett Tvenge Thank You Brett ! That’s right, the procrastination must end ! :)

@Jason Norton Thank you very much Jason, I won’t hesitate to contact you when the time comes

@Jason Norton A good question that deserves a moment to think about it

@James Wise Thank you James. This sounds like a solid advice

@Jim K. Thank you very much Jim ! I appreciate the time you took to answer in details. That’s something I really didn’t know or haven’t heard of regarding the structure of triplexes and quads. Definitely something to keep in mind, as I am not a handyman myself and do not have this knowledge or skills set to fix it. House hacking seems to be the way to go. Thank you also for the book reference I will definitely check it out

@Kuriakos Mellos it is and you’re right, there could be opportunities anywhere !

@Jason Norton, I should have get started yesterday :) but realistically if nothing major happens either to the economy or else, I would like to be set ideally for the first quarter of 2021 but more likely 2nd quarter. Let’s say summer 2021

@Sue K. Thank you very much Sue ! I really appreciate the developped answer. I think the advice regarding not taking for granted whatever first lender says is invaluable ! As I would probably myself believe that he’s the expert and knows what he’s doing. Obviously it’s not always the case. That’s why I’m so grateful for experienced owners and investors for their advices and for sharing their knowledge and experiences. I’m in Los Angeles by the way, so I agree there’s deals out there, I just feel like I would need to venture way out of my neighborhood in order to find a deal that could financially make sense. But once again it could also simply a limitating belief. Thank you for the recommandation, I would definitely contact him, if I decide to invest in Cali. Sorry, I can also go on forever :) I just love the topic of real estate in general and pretty much everything related to it. I just need to get rid of some old beliefs systems and take action !

@Jason Norton Thank you very much Jason ! Very valuable input, I really appreciate. I also tend to go that way. Obviously glad I asked the pros what they think first. Wondering why I didn’t do it earlier
