Wow! I have heard many negative things about Zillow and generally just do not work with that site. I know other agents that it works fine for but it seems they have many questionably legal things going on.

The saying, "a good time to invest in real estate was yesterday" continues to prove true to me. Find a way to make the current market work for you. People are investing at all times of the market, you just need to make sure that the way you approach it is profitable for you. Sometimes the best way for someone to prepare for investing is just to hold out and save money and wait! However, I always hear about how good of a time it was to invest in the past. Hindsight it 20/20! There are still good deals out there.

Yes! I definitely get burnt out. I do try to take breaks and incorporate a work life balance. What ends up usually happening is I work super hard and then get so burnt out that I am forced to take a break whether I like it or not.

Hi! @Ivan Aldana

Some parts are definitely better than others! I would recommend going down there yourself if you have not already to explore parts that you may be more interested in. Or getting a real estate agent who can help you navigate with their knowledge.

@Rudy Ratner- Do you have an idea of what type of property you are interested in? I am not sure what area you are in but typically lenders will give you an idea of what you qualify for even if you do not have a specific property in mind. Then when you do find a property you like you can pass it along and make sure that it fits your loan parameters with the specific parameters of that property. If you want to speak with a different lender there are some on here under the Network tab you can search for in your area.

Good luck!

@Elijah Lewis McCall Jr.- Welcome!! I would try and find local meet ups in your area. That is a great way to meet people in person and network in your area. (Some are virtual due to COVID). But I have definitely met some great people to bounce ideas off of that way. I also love, "The Book on Rental Property Investing" by Brandon Turner.

Here to help if you have any questions!

@Vincent Aguilar- I love this! I just listened to a podcast that talked about making sure you are happy in the process to becoming wealthy not waiting until you are wealthy to be happy. The source to my happiness right now is staying in the moment and enjoying what each moment has to offer. Enjoying the people’s company around me and enjoying the process to building my future wealth.
