thank you! He was given Londoner rights by the seller and I don't know if he had a lease. He vacated the property and was supposed to pick up his motorcycle and car 2 days ago. I live in Alaska and what I read was basically stating that for the vehicles can be impounded within 24 hour notice but if it was abandoned I can also sell it after. 15 days. I just was wondering if anyone had the same issues before  and how they dealt with it. I know the laws can be different in other states. Thanks for the advice

hi everyone! Just trying to get some help. We are closing on a short sale today but the tenant that lived there before left his motorcycle, a car and some other personal belongings in the house. I think he is intentionally pushing the buttons and I do not know what my recourse would be when I sign the docs. We can change the locks today and he technically will not have any access inside the house but he said that he is doing his best to pick it up by Friday morning. Well on Friday morning that property will be mine and everything that is left there technically belongs to me. So what do you think I should do? Sign the docs and take possession of everything in the house? Or will the tenant still have the right to get his stuff?
