This is very helpful - thank you so much! Is the listing fee separate from the selling agent’s commission? Also doesn’t the seller pay for the buyers’ agent commission as well?

We are considering selling a home in California which now seems to be a very competitive market.

Curious to hear if anyone has used Redfin’s Agents and can comment on their service/efficiency. They seem to claim a lower commission percentage than other agents in the area and I wonder if that’s worth it.

I wanted to tap into the advice from the group: we have a property that has turned into rental in early 2018 but was our primary residence for 5 years before that. If the house were to go on the market, would the gains be subject to the Cap Gain tax?

The property is currently a rental and has been moved into an LLC early last year. Also, how difficult is it to sell a property from the LLC versus an individual ownership?
