My brother runs a property management firm and uses Buildium, which does property management and accounting.  Know several other groups who use that software too.

I would definitely go with a commercial policy if you plan on scaling, but yes you should then have the properties in a LLC.

@Gustavo Lopez I would go with a commercial umbrella if you are trying to insure the LLC and not yourself individually. Essentially, the question to ask is if you are trying to cover your actions on behalf of that LLC or are you trying to cover yourself in the regular day to day? Hope that makes sense.
