You can either do a search in the public records in your area using the addresses of the properties or you can do a skip trace. There are different providers that offer skip tracing. I have never used it because I always find my information in public records but if you need to look further it was highly recommended to me by more experienced investors. You can do a Google search for skip trace and you should get a list of providers.

Wish you lots of luck in getting some deals on these properties.

Thanks for the advice Nzinga. I have already formed an LLC and I will definitely look into finding a good real estate attorney and get some advice.

Congrats. That's my ultimate goal. To work for myself in the near future. I am new to real estate investing but so far I am learning a lot. Thanks for telling your story because it has inspired an motivated me to work even harder towards becoming a successful REI and creating a very successful real estate business.

Congrats Dawn. I am now getting started as a real estate investor. Even though I am starting simple and making offers on MLS listings, I am coming across quite a bit of FSBOs. What advice can you give me?

Thanks.

Three questions. What's the best way to start or get into lease options? How do you determine if the best way to profit on a property is through lease options vs other ways. Also are there any experienced lease option investors in the Silver Spring area?

Thanks for your feedback.

Ersil.
