Hi Everyone,
After I did my research I am ready to get started!
I am looking for an agent which is:

  • Experienced in working with investors on buy and hold deals.
  • Friendly and patient with first-time investors.
  • Honest and trustworthy.
  • Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

    If you know someone who fits this description or if you are that person, please feel free to reach out. I’d love to connect!

    @Karolina Powell

    Thank you!
    I would love to speak with people that have experience in the area.
    If one of your friends would like to talk to me and share some advices it would be great :)

    @Karolina Powell
    Thank you!
    Why did you choose to invest in the South and not in Pittsburgh itself?
    Is it related to prices or having more options?

    I heard that the north-west side has some good neighborhoods for investors like Penn Hills and verona.

    In the south I heard about Dormont, Brentwood and Bridgeville. did you invest in them?
    I am starting with a small budget(100k-120k) so trying to understand which neighborhoods I should focus on, would love to get recommendations if you have :)

    Thank you so much for taking the time to answer :)
    sent you a message, would love to work with you.

    @Jeremy Taggart
    Thank you some much Jeremy for the detailed answer!
    I did some research and saw reasonable prices on following neighborhoods, after I read what you wrote I understand that the good prices might have been on the less good side of the neighborhoods but not sure how to check.

    if you could let me know if it is better to stay away from some of them I would really appreciate It:
    Mount Washington
    verna- out side of Pittsburgh
    Brookline
    Larimer
    Lincoln Place
    Carnegie
    Wilkinsburg
    Hazelwood
    Sherade

      Hi everyone!

      I’m excited to take my first steps into real estate investing and have decided to focus on Pittsburgh for my first property.

      I’d love to hear your thoughts on:

      • *Neighborhoods or areas in Pittsburgh that are good for investment and typical price ranges I should expect.
      • *Any red flags unique to the Pittsburgh market.

      I’m also hoping to connect with fellow investors, agents, or property managers who are familiar with the local market. If you’re based in Pittsburgh or have experience investing there, I’d love to hear from you!

      Thanks in advance for any tips or advice you can share :)
