Thanks, Evan. I have to say...I'm not ever going for the "hard sell"...it's just not in me! I'll have to get brave and find his phone number and call :-)

Hi Robert, Bend is pretty HOT right now and very low inventory...but I think there are still many opportunities! Thanks for connecting!

Hi Robert, just wanted to introduce myself...I'm a Realtor in Bend. If you ever want to invest over here instead of Portland...I'd be happy to help you.

Thanks for your reply Josh! I'd rather not go that route, but I can check into the laws. We don't have a HOA in the area, so not sure what can be done? I'm hoping to be able to purchase it and make it habitable :-) We are so short of homes for sale in our city!

Looking for suggestions and specific language to use to talk to an out-of-town property owner that will convince him it's time to SELL! Any successful sales pitches you know of? There is a vacant home owned by an out-of-town person. I've sent 3 letter with photos of the poor condition of the home. It's deteriorating with no one living in it. I'm working with a lender to see if I can buy it, complete it and sell it, but until I know for sure...any ideas for how to engage this property owner? He's owned it for 10 years and it's just sitting there. Now with broken windows, missing siding, weeds galore....you get the picture. All other homes on the street are occupied and fairly well kept.

Hi Cheryl,

I'm a Realtor in Bend, Oregon (Central Oregon where it's dry and sunny!). If you want to explore investing in Central Oregon, we should talk! I helped one investor sell 2 properties and buy 4 others last year.
