I buy rentals in Lubbock, so I'm not your target audience as a primary home buyer. I live in Austin, which has a totally feel to its real estate market. I think the remodel on Norfolk looks good, but Lubbock is a peculiar market in some ways. It seems like - and I say this as a complete outsider - buyers are very price-sensitive. I've gotten great advice/support from @Jordan Sutherland (my Lubbock RE agent, who is also an investor himself), as well as @Joan Brown (who does flips and buy-in-holds in Lubbock), as well as @Corey Zant (who also invests/flips there).  They may be able to weigh in and provide some advice on your listings.

I'd be interested as well @Jenny Cunningham.  I've been meeting with several female RE investors in Austin, TX over the past few months as I solidify my business structure. Several of them have shared some gender-specific tips. Most have indicated that they felt being a woman had been advantageous to them - particularly in working with contractors, which I found somewhat surprising. I'd be happy to share and learn!
