Hi @Jack H. did you ever find anyone who has been part of Mindset Academy or did you end up taking the plunge and trying it yourself?

I tried it for a couple months. It was good content but very unorganized for a self paced format.

Thanks for letting me know.  Would you be able to go into more detail as to why it was unorganized?

Their documents were not organized and labeled logically so if I wanted to find a topic, i had to go through file by file. The videos were just downloaded files without edits. So the first 10-15 minutes seemed like you were just watching one of the coaches get set up. There was a lot of wasted time.they also sent out some "getting started" steps that seemed to be off the mark. For example, one step was to call a sales consultant for live coaching packages. When I spoke to the salesperson he didnt know i was in the self paced program. I was hoping it would be more of a step by step walk thru that a live coach would do but without the live interaction. But instead it was just a dump of the weekly content. It would not be surprised if he started fixing some of this stuff but he's was not as polished as I had hoped and I didn't want to pay to wait for him to fix it. That being said, I am planning on trying the live coaching because I like his approach and think that would benefit me more.

Thank you so much for the details. Good luck with 1:1 coaching if you move forward!

@Logan Pourbaix @Nicole Heasley Beitenman and @Nicholas D. did any of you ever end up pulling the trigger with Jason's coaching?  Did you all every look into his mindset academy?  I'm more interested in starting with that and graduating into the 1:1 coaching, but I cannot really find anyone who is a part of any of his programs to apeak with.

This is a long shot because I know this thread is pretty old, but @Donnie M. are you aware of any meetups or REIAs in the Columbus area that still meet?

Joins us to learn how to buy, sell and control real estate while working in collaboration with other investors. Please bring your Haves & Wants so that we can work to structure deals that we otherwise couldn’t close on our own.

The Creative Deal Structuring Subgroup meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 10 am – 12 pm, at Ecom Spaces, 600 Bronner Brothers Way SW, Atlanta 30310. Ari Newman is the Subgroup Leader.

  • Each month, the group will focus on a specific topic related to creative finance, control, structure, etc. – a collaborative discussion with moderator

  • Some meetings will feature a guest speaker who will lead the discussion about the subject that month, with lots of Q&A

  • Most meetings will include a component of “Haves/Wants” where people can bring their deals into the room for discussion, collaboration, etc.

  • The goal is to work collaboratively, sharing knowledge to make better deals and close them.

    • Focus on taking action to transact – not just learning theory

  • Free if GaReIA Member

@Ben Weber thanks for the response.  Kind of what it seemed like for us as well but wanted to try and talk with someone who went through it.  Good luck building your credit!
