Is it feasible to wholesale properties during this pandemic if you haven’t already started the process with a possible seller yet?

I am looking to cold call some people I have skiptraced and was wondering if it would be better to just wait for the pandemic to pass or just try to make it all work some how.

Have people been able to find deals and actually go through the whole process with this covid19 going on? Thank you

@Sue K. I obviously don’t intend to rip anyone off but I also know there are very wealthy people out there so It’s not far fetched for a group of wealthy people to be able to throw money together to get that kind of cash or get a hard money loan so I was just wondering if anyone knew from personal experience how often that kind of stuff occurs.

I never had any intent of ripping people off and not one of those people that believe in that instant cash thing either

@Sue K. What I’m asking pretty much is if it’s realistic for me to go out as a wholesaler and tell them the seller we can buy their property for cash when it’s as high as 1.5 million for example? Or will it be almost impossible to find a cash buyer for that contract? Like I said I’m new to it all so I’m not sure what the chances are of finding a cash buyer within the 30 day contract window for such a high price property. If that was too high what price would you think would be a reasonable max for cash buyers in Cali?

While living in California I search for the best deals possible in California as a wholesaler. Is there a price limit I should consider for when it comes to it being realistic for someone to be able to buy a house for cash? I only ask because in my are there are a lot of houses that are like 1.5 million and it’s kind of hard Grasping the fact that I can tell someone we will be able to buy their house with cash when it gets to those kinds of numbers. I’m new to it all so I’m not sure which number is truly too much to be offering cash offers for. Thank you

Does texting for your first interaction with a possible seller work? Would you recommend something else? Would love to hear from people that have tried multiple things. Thank you
