Quote from @Drago Stanimirovic:

Hi NOah,

To stay on top of market data, I recommend using a combination of national and local sources. Websites like Zillow, Redfin, and Realtor.com offer great insights into home prices, trends, and inventory levels. For more in-depth economic and housing data, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and U.S. Census Bureau are useful. Additionally, local MLS data or city-specific real estate reports can provide more granular insights for your target market.

For news and broader economic trends that affect real estate, check out HousingWire and MarketWatch. Subscribing to local real estate newsletters or attending local market meetups can also give you a better feel for what's happening in your specific area. Combining these will give you a well-rounded view of the market. Best of Luck! Drago

Thanks for your insightful response to my post and I cannot wait to implement these strategies into my research!

As I have been building my foundational knowledge for investing, I am at the stage where I am also wanting to keep up with the market data that, so I may better understand the specifics of the market of my choice. Are there any recommendations from anyone who have found certain news sites or data sources to extract data from that has helped them understand the current market landscape in their target area? Open to any recommendations to check out and willing to look through anything that could potentially be helpful!

I currently work with a wholesalers in dispositions and so I'm always looking to connect with other buyers who are interested in flip/rental deals. Feel free to reach out

Hi,

My name is Noah and I am looking to connect with any investors in the Houston area! Specifically in flip/rental properties, as I would like to learn more from this market on what differentiates how good a deal is or the potential it has!
