Hello @Amul Sutaria I would recommend reading the "The Best Ever Apartment Syndication Book" by Joe Fairless and @Theo Hicks goes through the entire process.

Hello @Franklin Marte

I love the hustle and the plan!

Lenders in commercial review not only the cash to close, but they also look at experience within commercial real estate. I'm not saying it is impossible to get a deal, but you may need to find a partner to give you credibility with the bank.

Welcome to BP @Nick Rini

You are learning and there is nothing wrong with that!

I would figure out how you want your real estate investing to fit into your life. Do you want to be active or passive? From there do you want to invest in single-family, apartments, self-storage, etc?

During this process you will understand each facet and how each investment strategy works and you can develop investing criteria which will help you move forward.

There is no wrong answer but every journey starts with one step. You are taking it now by learning.

Feel free to reach out with any questions about the different paths.

Hi @Eileen Shi and welcome to BP!

Before getting into a deal passively I would recommend building a relationship with credible syndicators to see if their investment strategies match yours and if where they invest makes sense to you.

Once you have developed a relationship and vetted the syndicators, then I would see deals that they offer.

It's a long road but if you have any questions feel free to reach out. Happy to help!

Hello @Brandon Dixon and welcome to BP!

Like @Charles LeMaireand @Justin Kane mentioned Joe Fairless and @Theo Hicks have a great book that goes over every step of the process on how to become an apartment syndicator.

Are you looking for a more active or passive approach?

Happy to help!

Hello BP!

I just wanted to say thank you for helping me take massive action toward my goal in 2019!

My goal is to fundraise $1M to help execute my first multifamily deal.

To get to that point I have done the following:

-Started my website about multifamily investing

-Post weekly blog posts

-Created a podcast

-Reaching out to professionals like yourself to help educate myself

Last year I was scared to put myself out there and go for my goals.

Now I’m excited everyday to make an impact and to accomplish my goals.

I THANK YOU BP FOR HELPING ME CHANGE MY MINDSET!

Have a great day and level up today!
