@Brian Garrett here in Aalborg Denmark, you can buy a 20-40 m2 appartment or a house 20 km from the city.

Thank you very much Lars. I have been looking in to buying 2-4 room appartments, with the purpose of retning out the rooms individually. That both raises the rate which you can take pr square meter, and enables you to let a tenant go without a reason and with 1 months notice. Another thing you can do is to write it up as a furnished room, and that enables you to take 1,5 the rent rate, and if it is in your own home you can also get 1,5 the tax deduction. As far as i can read of the skat.dk 😅 I know my cousin has put a 20$ IKEA coffe table in his rent out room and therefore gets 1,5 the tax deduction on his rent out.

Hej Kasper, mange tak. I would like to hold you up on that, since i find the legal af tax purposes of buy and hold investing in Denmark quite complicated. Where do you think would be the best BRRR buy and hold market here in Denmark? I have been looking in to Aalborg and Aarhus, manily for the sake of retning to students. Since i find that having 2-4 renters per appartment would be great for cashflow. Which kind of markets are you looking in to?

Hello My name is Nikolaj, i am 23years old and live in Aalborg in northern Denmark. I work as an active duty overkonstabel, equivalent to private first class, in the Danish army. I found BP while renovating my first appartment, which is going to be a house hack. When it is done in a couple of weeks😅 I bought it for the equvalent of 250000$ and i have put in a new bathroom, new ceilings, grinded and painted the floors, taken down all the old wallpaper, and put up new glassfilter. I expect to get a bank apraisal on thr appartment for about 380000$ And to this point i have spent 10000$ on the renovations, due to the fact that i have done all the work my self, with som help from my father, and my girlfriend. Due to sweat equity in the appartment i am renovationg, i hope too be able to purchase a BRRR property during this summer.
