I haven't yet, I thought I would have to have an area within NC chosen as well as money to put down, and ideally the closing costs etc before I bothered anyone. Would it be a better idea to reach out now though?

So far I know

I want to invest in multifamily rental properties in North Carolina.

I work for Doordash, so I'm a 1099 Independent Contractor.

My credit is good, but not great.

I currently own a condo in Michigan that has an HOA, That I've owned for 2.5 years now.

I have some debt, but am paying it down quickly. I expect to have no remaining debt by October of this year.

I am currently in Michigan (in the condo), plan to rent out the condo (or sell if renting isnt realistic)

I am just not sure of resources to use, and the STEPS I need to take to eventually;

Own multiple multifamilies in North Carolina, Michigan, and other places and make enough passive income to allow me and my family to travel.

We plan to live in one of the units of our first multifamily, but would like to eventually end up in a single family home.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Thank you!!
