@Jeff Valentino that's what I noticed before we left.  Hope you get the meet up to 100 by December.  I might bring a few acquaintances that don't use BP to the next one.

@Jeff Valentino Petey's is definitely a good location for me.  I think the only concern I have is if the group gets pretty big there isn't much room unless they open up that other room.

I heard the original rsvp list was 50.  I don't know how well we would've fit in that room with 50.

@Dan Liptak why not just ask your cpa?  Did they advise you to do a llc?

My personal opinion on flipping and taxes would be to use a S-corp.

I could be wrong but that's why I ask my cpa before I do anything.

@Davon Lowerydepends on the sort of loans you're looking to be given.  If you're trying to keep everything conventional lenders are going to want to see income and not losses. If you can find a smaller bank that might give a loan based on the asset then I'd go crazy writing everything off.

I'm at the same crossroads myself and will make sure I show enough income to qualify for as many conventional loans as I possibly can before I have to use other means.

can you qualify without using rental income?

I'm looking forward to the same journey.  I started last year and am getting ready to close on number 3!
